Effective April 1, 2011 MOM shall implement a new regulatory framework that stipulates the fees chargeable to the Foreign Domestic Worker (FDW) and the Employer .

Processing fess shall now be chargeable to the employer on top of the agency fee and insurance cost.

FDW’s are only stipulated to pay two months’ worth of salary placement fee in  Singapore.

All FDWs arriving from the Philippines shall now go through the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).
